Kristin Fisher joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is the station's Space and Defense Correspondent. As a correspondent she is responsible for covering everything from NASA as well as the new Space Force, to commercial space firms and the emergence in space travel. Kristin is the mother of two NASA astronauts. Kristin has grown up working in space, and has covered Trump and Biden Administration space policies for FOX News as White House Correspondent. Kristin also reported on impeachment hearings for President Trump and the 2020 presidential election and efforts by two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. She also went on numerous journeys with the president and vice president, including a top secret trip to Afghanistan along with the then-President Donald Trump. Kristin was a local television reporter in Grand Junction, Colorado, Little Rock, Arkansas, Washington, D.C., in which she was awarded the Emmy Award for her work as an "one-man-band" reporter before being hired by CBS in 2015. Kristin as a skilled filmmaker, founded Field Mouse Films, a business that specialises in documentary style films, with clients like Uber as well as Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Kristin is earned a Bachelor in Science in Journalism which she received at Boston University. Kristin lives with husband, daughter, and her three-year-old in Washington, D.C.
